Marquee Lighting at the Pitman Theatre

On August 11th, 2006, Pitman Broadway fans gathered to witness the lighting of the marquee of the Broadway Theatre of Pitman. The Gloucester County Times reported on the event; Marquee lights return to Pitman. Pitman mayor Alice Polocz commented, "I think it shows a lot of faith on the part of Peter Slack to invest in this community. and faith on the community to invest in the theater." Friday, August 11th at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman

On Friday, August 11th at 7pm, The Broadway Theatre of Pitman will celebrate the relighting of the theatre marquee, officially marking the rebirth of Pitman’s theatre. The event will feature a brief ceremony, performances by the Blues Box and Pitman’s own Original Hobo Band and, finally, the official marquee lighting.
